The UK government offers 30 hours of free childcare per week for eligible working parents of 3- and 4-year-olds, helping to reduce childcare costs and support families in balancing work and family life. This funding is available for up to 38 weeks per year (during school term time) or can be stretched across the whole year with fewer hours per week. To qualify, both parents (or the single parent in a single-parent household) must be working and earning at least the equivalent of 16 hours per week at the National Minimum or Living Wage, but less than £100,000 each per year. This initiative provides children with valuable early learning experiences and supports their development before starting school.
At Little Hearts Nursery, we’re proud to help families make the most of the 30 hours free childcare scheme. Our friendly team guides parents through the application process to ensure they receive their entitlement without stress. We offer flexible sessions to fit around your work schedule, providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where your child can learn, play, and grow. With dedicated staff, engaging activities, and a focus on each child’s individual needs, Little Hearts Nursery is here to make your childcare experience affordable, seamless, and enriching for your little one.
